To be honest, this Feferi's Alternia is not that much different from the one in canon! Trolls are still quite violent and death is always a thing that can and will happen. Blood color is also still a hugely important thing. Red is still the lowest and tyrian purple is still the highest. Everything is still decided by blood color, too! This means that if you've got red blood, life kinda sucks for you. If you have tyrian purple blood-- well, life still sucks, but you're also royalty! That's pretty much what it's like. The biggest difference in this AU is that the blood colors of the main twelve have been swapped around.

The original canon goes like this: Karkat (Mutant Red) -> Aradia (Red) -> Tavros (Brown) -> Sollux (Yellow) -> Nepeta (Olive) -> Kanaya (Jade) -> Terezi (Teal) -> Vriska (Cerulean) -> Equius (Dark Blue) -> Gamzee (Indigo) -> Eridan (Purple) -> Feferi (Tyrian Purple).

The blood colors in this AU are like this: Nepeta (Mutant Red) -> Kanaya (Red) -> Terezi (Brown) -> Vriska (Yellow) -> Equius (Olive) -> Gamzee (Jade) -> Eridan (Teal) -> Feferi (Cerulean) -> Karkat (Dark Blue) -> Aradia (Indigo) -> Tavros (Purple) -> Sollux (Tyrian Purple).

Lusii, the custodians that take care of the trolls, have also changed with the blood colors. Each of the trolls in this AU has an original lusus that they live with and take care of.

Anyway! Now that I've established that, it's time to move on.

Feferi was hatched and she went through the brooding caverns and her trials with relative ease! And then she was chosen by a lusus that would take care of her as long as she took care of her. Her lusus required trolls to eat, so when Feferi was old enough she took up FLARP! Like her canon cerulean counterpart, Vriska, she used FLARP as a way to get trolls to her lusus. Her partner in FLARP is Eridan, and together, they form a pretty awesome FLARPing team. They're a pretty successful FLARPing team.

During this time - when she was still somewhat young - she stumbled across her ancestor's journal in the same way that Vriska did in her canon. She saw a shooting star and felt like she had to follow it! And when she found it, she knew it was hers from the symbol that was on it. It's then that she took Mindfang's journal. She didn't really have it for long, though. Kanaya won her from her, and she hasn't been able to win it back no matter how hard she tries. So! Now Kanaya holds onto Mindfang's journal. At least that means that the meteors won't have a chance to destroy that journal, since Kanaya intends to bring the records with her into the Medium. Mindfang is actually why Feferi decided to wear the clothes that she does instead of something else. She really does like her ancestor a lot.

Eventually, the game that destroyed the world came along. She got the files from Kanaya and started a MEMO PARTY!!! and they discussed how to handle the game and laughed at Vriska. She knew this was coming because she is the chosen prophet of this session, and because of this, she has had access to Prospit's clouds for the good majority of her life.

That's pretty much where it ends, because admittedly, Derpbent is not that far along at the moment!

Personality:
Honestly, in a lot of ways, Feferi has a lot of the traits that her canon counterpart has. She's bubbly, easily excitable, and extremely bouncy. Blood color isn't a huge deal to her, and she does treat everyone equally. She remains enthusiastic and optimistic and it doesn't take much to make her laugh. She's a troll (the internet kind) too because it's fun.

That's where a lot of the similarities end.

Because this AU is a bloodswap, and while there are a lot of ways that she's still similar to her canon self, she was raised with a different lusus and a different set of expectations. Her lusus ate trolls, so-- once Feferi was old enough, she had to find a way to feed that lusus of hers. The thing she chose to do? FLARP. Because FLARP is live action roleplaying, and therefore a game, Feferi had a lot of fun! And that might be one of the reasons why she sees murder as such a fun thing.

She ended up becoming quite sadistic due to this and the instability that being a cerulean blooded troll grants her. Seriously, she laughs at the misfortune of others. She even thinks it's funny when trolls get electrocuted and do what she calls "silly dances" when they die. Of course, part of the reason she acts like this might be because this is her way of coping with the fact that she has to kill other trolls, and as time went on, she became numb to it because it was something she had to do. It's better to find a way to enjoy it rather than hate what you have to do, right? This is why redefining the word 'cull' isn't really a thing anymore. It wouldn't make much sense for her to want to redefine cull when her survival depends on whether she gets her lusus fed or not.

Of course, her enjoying the misfortune of others isn't a thing caused by her lusus. It's a thing that's caused by society and their encouragement of that kind of thing. Like, even though Eridan is one of her closer friends, she thinks it's hilarious when he gets verbally whipped for something of some kind.

Feferi is a fan of her ancestor, Mindfang, too. While she stupidly bet Mindfang's journal in a game with Kanaya, she does her best to emulate her - that's why the clothes that she wears aren't like the usual all black troll uniform. She wears a pirate type costume and hat, and she is all about pirates because gosh they are so cool.

Eridan is still an important figure in her life! They are only casual friends in this AU, though, and there is no romantic relationship of any kind outside of Feferi being an ocassional mediator for Mr. Forever Alone. They FLARP together, and when Feferi catches a troll, she let's Mr. Forever Alone interrogate them. He gets his practice for his law thing and she gets to feed her lusus! It all works out.

Of course, it is possible for her to be sad and angry, but it takes a lot to get her to that point. It happens pretty rarely because of how she handles the things mentioned above, but when it happens, it's probably the best to run for the hills. An angry Feferi is not a good Feferi, and a sad one isn't all that great either.

Abilities:
Feferi is able to fight using Mindfang's dice, so how she fights is pretty close to how Vriska fights in canon. Different numbers mean different attacks, and it works out pretty awesomely for her!

She is also the Mage of Light, which-- well, this hasn't really been elaborated on just yet, but Light is luck related! So Feferi is able to do something with luck. It's possible that, because she is also the prophet of their session and has been awake on Prospit for a long time, that she is able to forsee lucky situations. That's possibly just a perk that comes from seeing Prospit's clouds, though.

Feferi is also quite good at trolling Eridan's dreamself.

[Feferi was bored-- there really wasn't a whole lot to do in this tower, and... well, it didn't take long to get to her. That's why she is now wandering the tower after taking some time to rearrange everything she possibly could in the library to make it a better FLARPing area. She could just use the computers to get everyone's attention, but that's boring when she can actually be excited at them in person??]

HEY EVERYONE! Your captain is ready to have one of the best games of FLARP ever! You'd better hurry and get down to the library before we set sail! You don't want to not make it there, do you???

Just think of everything that you will be missing out on if you don't get down there. There will be action, adventure, and swashbuckling-- or at least the best swashbuckling you can do in the tower!

[When she gets no immediate answer as she passes through the halls, she just has to add something more to it:]

I promise no one will have to walk the plank if you join in.
